Dholera-Bhavnagar Rail Project Approved
In a major Dholera update, the government has approved the new Dholera-Bhavnagar rail connectivity project, covering around 50 km. This follows the earlier approval of the Ahmedabad-Dholera rail line and strengthens the region’s infrastructure. With several industries setting up plants in Dholera SIR, including electronics, EVs, and defense sectors, this project will play a key role in improving logistics efficiency and supporting rapid goods transport.
As per officials, the new rail line will not only make passenger travel faster and safer but also reduce the cost and time of freight movement. With enhanced links to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and the Dedicated Freight Corridor, Dholera’s logistics role in Western India is expected to grow significantly.
