Dholera-Bhimnath broad gauge railway line: Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government has sanctioned Rs 466 crore for the Dholera-Bhimnath new broad gauge railway line project.
Project Approval & Government Support
Gujarat, India State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for the approval given to Dholera-Bhimanath (logistic hub) new broad gauge railway line project.
This new broad gauge railway line of 23.33 km between Dholera Bhimanath will provide direct rail connectivity to Dholera. Along with this, connectivity will be accessible to Dholera along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Freight Corridor.
Boosting Industrial Connectivity
Completion of Dholera-Bhimanath (Logistic Hub) New Broad Gauge Railway Line Project will also provide faster connectivity for movement of finished products and raw materials to industries of Dholera SIR in future.
With the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the direction of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Dholera SIR of about 920 square kilometers is India's largest greenfield industrial region and smart city.
Global Manufacturing Hub Readiness
As Dholera SIR emerges as a global manufacturing hub in the next few years, this broad gauge railway line project will also play an important role.
Notably, Dholera SIR will be an integral part of DMIC's next generation infrastructure with full connectivity including International Airport, Ahmedabad-Dholera Express Highway and now the Dholera-Bhimanath new broad gauge railway line.
