Mumbai: At the prestigious World Hindu Economic Forum, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel spotlighted the transformative potential of the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR). Positioned as a global investment hotspot, Dholera SIR’s world-class infrastructure and cutting-edge logistics are attracting significant attention from semiconductor, defence manufacturing, and other emerging sectors.
Speaking on the topic “Gujarat: An Industrial Powerhouse Driving Economic Growth,” the CM emphasized that Dholera SIR is pivotal to Gujarat’s growth story. "With its unparalleled infrastructure and investor-friendly environment, Dholera SIR has become the first choice for industries seeking innovation and efficiency,” said Patel.
The CM also announced that Gujarat is set to lead the semiconductor revolution, with three plants nearing operational status in Dholera. The region will soon manufacture India’s first ‘Make in India’ semiconductor chip, further solidifying its reputation as a hub for high-tech industries.
