Strategic Semiconductor Partnership
New Delhi, India PM Narendra Modi met with Tata Sons and PSMC senior teams to discuss semiconductor manufacturing projects. The meeting coincided with a technological support agreement between Tata Electronics and Taiwan's Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp. (PSMC).
The focus of the agreement is Tata Electronics' upcoming wafer fabrication facility in Dholera.
Government Collaboration & Future Growth
PM Modi shared on social media that PSMC is enthusiastic about expanding its presence in India. The collaboration aims to bolster India's semiconductor manufacturing capabilities through these strategic partnerships.
