In a major boost to Gujarat’s rapidly expanding infrastructure landscape, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reviewed 27 key projects worth a massive ₹11,360 crore — with the Dholera Greenfield Airport emerging as the biggest highlight of the meeting.
Officials reported that most Phase-1 works at Dholera Airport are now close to completion, and major work orders have already been issued. This marks one of the most significant milestones for the state’s flagship Dholera Special Investment Region, expected to become a global manufacturing and logistics hub.
Alongside the airport, the CM also reviewed other crucial developments, including the 65 MLD water-supply scheme at PM Mitra Park in Navsari, the Bulk Drug Park, the Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal in Morbi, and the 90 MLD deep-sea effluent disposal pipeline at Saikha, Bharuch. He urged officials to ensure timely completion of all priority projects.
With Dholera Airport getting closer to its first flights, excitement is building across Gujarat — and the region is set to take a giant leap toward becoming India’s next big economic powerhouse.
